Top Movie Munchies

Catching the next big movie on the big screen is an event in itself. However, the effects and surround sound is not the only exciting thing that happens. The trip to the concession stand is a huge part in making your movie going experience a hit as well. It is important to have the essentials to make your movie that much more enjoyable. That is why I will be tackling what I think are must haves while catching the latest flick.

1. It is just not a moviegoing experience without the traditional movie popcorn. I do not know what it is about popcorn, However, it seems to make everything else right in the world when watching a movie. For myself I would love to know who even thought of snacking on popcorn while watching a movie. Its literally the best thing ever so I won't ask questions!
2. The second essential would without a doubt be grabbing your favorite candy. Its a MUST! you just   cannot watch a movie without some form of candy. For myself it would have to be peanut M&M's. I personally think God made them.
3.To top off all of these delicious food items that we need to feel secure enough to proceed with our movie would have to be a nice cold beverage. Sodas are an option that many choose while I like to go BIG and spring for the icee. You are already treating yourself to the movie why not the greatest drink ever?

There are many different types of food that are a go too for watching a movie but these are the classics.

ENJOY!

The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2

It's the most anticipated movie of the season. As the Twilight Saga concludes with Breaking Dawn Part 2 in theaters Nov. 16 I give a look into the next big movie. With over $705.1 Million total worldwide the twilight films have generated, the next one only weeks away it is simply impossible to ignore the phenomenon that is twilight. After being wowed by four movies filled with sparkly vampires, gigantic werewolves, a show stopping wedding and one particularly graphic birthing scene, fans are still wondering if this franchise has the capacity to surprise. Not to worry twihards, the long awaited transformation of Bella Swan is upon us, and she is as red eyed and bloodthirsty as we thought she would be. There is also an epic fight scene between the Volturi and the Cullens. It is an enormous battle  that is centered around the twilight lovers half human half vampire child. I can guarantee this movie will be a nail biter and an ABSOLUTE must see. Be sure to check out the Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2 in theaters near you Nov. 16. It will be a bloody good time!

The 5 scariest Movies!

Turn off your lights and hold on tight. I have compiled a list of the 5 scariest films of all time to give you the shivers this Halloween!

The Shining
Stanley Kubrick’s adaptation of Stephen King’s novel could quite possibly be one of the scariest films of all time. The bone-chilling movie is based in an isolated hotel where Jack Nicholson and his family have moved in as caretakers for the winter. What follows is a ghostly encounter with a former hotel custodian who murdered his wife and two daughters. Beware: The eerie silence of the movie will haunt you long after you’ve hit the stop button.
The Silence of the Lambs
Anthony Hopkins as Dr. Hannibal Lecter the Cannibal will scare you into numbness. Not for the weak-hearted — the psychological thriller is a two-hour-long hair raiser about FBI agent Clarice Starling, who tries to gain insight into a murderer’s mind by interviewing psychopath Hannibal.
Poltergeist
Watch this before you go haunted house hunting this Halloween. A suburban family is visited by ghosts who play odd tricks on them, and soon the events build up to a frightening climax when the ghosts kidnap the youngest daughter.

A Nightmare on Elm Street
The film that spawned six sequels and made Freddy Krueger into a household monster is still a must-watch horror flick. A group of teenagers start having dreams about a scarred man with razor fingers and soon they are brutally murdered in their sleep. The remaining teen, Nancy, realizes that she has to stay awake to survive. Good luck going to bed after this one!

The Exorcist
You’ll know why The Exorcist is the most bloodcurdling movie ever made when you watch the brutal depiction of a 12-year-old girl possessed by an evil spirit as the exorcist tries to save her.

For me its always the oldies that are a must see each halloween season. So be sure to turn off the lights and grab someone close, because they will be sure to scare the bejesus out of you.
Happy Halloween!

Paranormal Activity

The movie takes place five years since the disappearance of Katie and Hunter, and a suburban family witness strange events in their neighborhood when a woman and a mysterious child move in.

You cant go wrong with a movie about a creepy kid, this is a must see.

The fourth installment of the popular horror franchise Paranormal Activity 4 opens this weekend October 19th, 2012.
